Our cottage in Skye is fairly unique in that it is in the town of Portree but, because of its location, a wide range of wildlife can be seen from the lounge. This includes seals, otters, sea eagles, golden eagles, pine martens and lots of seabirds. We also have greenfinch, goldfinch, sparrows, blackbirds, bluetits and others visiting our feeders. Red deer have also been spotted nearby but you’ll have to stay up all night to see those! If you do stay up expect to hear lots of owls at certain times of the year.
